Group Classes
In order to keep classes at the highest quality we limit group classes to 9 participants for the Pilates mat, Boot Camp and Strength Training Pilates Circuit classes and we limit Apparatus classes to 3 participants. Look under "Session Information" located on the right side of this page for forms, schedule and more information.
Mat Pilates with small equipmentThe focus of this class is to build a base of strength and flexibility, and to gain a higher degree of body awareness, postural control, and core stability. Classes may include the use of small Pilates equipment such as Pilates circles, stability balls, bands, toning balls, Bosus & foam rollers. Boot Camp Intervals of cardio, strength training and challenges to your balance and core. Cardiovascular equipment, jump ropes, free weights, Bosu, stability balls and more are incorporated in this fun, fast paced class. Great for boosting your metabolism and waking up the youth inside you! Coming back in January on Wednesdays at 4:30pm! Strength Training/ Pilates CircuitNever get bored with strength training again! This is a small group personal training class that incluceds strength training with free weights and balance equipment combined with simple Pilates apparatus exercises. Proper form is empahsized and different strength training techniques are applied.

Pilates Apparatus ClassesPilates, using # peices of specially designed equipment (reformer, tower and stability chair), still targets the core muscles, but the equipment allows for more emphasis on the limbs. The equipment also adds more variety to your Pilates repertoire and can be used to modify or advance Pilates exercises. | |

Seniors Exercise ClassThis class is a simple and safe, evidence-based physical activity program designed to enhance health outcomes for high-risk and diverse adults age 60+. Exercises are performed using resistance bands, dumbbells, fitness circles and chairs. The participants in this class have seen significant improvements in balance, strength and flexibility. |

| The goal of Healthy Moves is to help older adults maximize their independence by building strength, increasing flexibility, and help to reduce the risk of falls. Where: The multi-purpose room at 84 Chester Street, Chester, NH When: Mondays and Wednesdays from 1:30 – 2:30 pm. These classes are on-going. Cost: FREE to Chester residents*. Registration and physician's clearance must be completed before attending. *This class is financed through private donations and town funding. | |
